The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) is the single largest test for admission to Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) courses. According to the NEET BDS cutoff, an unreserved category candidate must score at least 50 percentile. Aspirants should be aware of the BDS cutoff for NEET 2025 before taking admission to top dental colleges in India based on their ranks. NEET college predictor 2025 is a tool to check the list of colleges where students have chance to get admission based on their scores.
BDS is the most sought-after course after MBBS. Candidates must clear the NEET exam and score the BDS minimum qualifying marks to be accepted into colleges. On the grounds of the NEET results, the seats to the BDS course are granted through NEET counselling. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts NEET counselling for the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, while the 85% state quota seats are conducted by the respective state authorities.
Having an idea about the NEET cutoff is crucial for students interested in analysing their chances of gaining a seat in BDS programs through the NEET exam. The total number of seats offered through NEET is approximately 101188 MBBS, 27,868 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, 487 BSc nursing and 603 BVSc, as well as 1205 AIIMS seats and 200 JIPMER seats are also available.
