The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the All India AYUSH Postgraduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET 2026) for granting admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy courses. The AIAPGET exam date 2026 will be announced soon by the NTA.
Through AIAPGET 2026 exam, admission will be granted to around 2274 seats in MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha & Homoeopathy courses offered in AYUSH Colleges, Institutions, & Universities/ Deemed Universities in India.
The exam is conducted in online CBT mode for a duration of 2 hours. Candidates are required to answer 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The total weightage of the exam is 480 marks. For each correct response, 4 marks are given, whereas for each incorrect answer, 1 mark is deducted. No marks are given for an un-attempted question.

To fill AIAPGET 2026 application form, candidates need to complete five steps which include AIAPGET registration, filling of the application form, uploading of images, payment of application fees and printout of the confirmation page.
As per the exam pattern of AIAPGET 2026, four marks are awarded for correct answer, while one mark is deducted for a wrong attempt.

If your NTA application is in the general category, you cannot directly apply under the BCM (Backward Class Muslim) quota in Tamil Nadu state counseling. The BCM quota is a reserved category specific to Tamil Nadu, and your application must reflect your eligibility for that quota.
