FMGE - Foreign Medical Graduate Examination is a screening test for medical graduates to be eligible to practice medicine in the country. FMGE exam is conducted biannually in June and December by the National Board of Examinations for Indian and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) to obtain the registration certificate from the National Medical Commission (NMC) or State Medical Council (SMC).
The NBE has declared the FMGE result 2025 for the June session on August 13. The FMGE admit card for the June 2025 session was released on July 22, 2025. Candidates can download their FMGE hall ticket 2025 from the official website, natboard.edu.in or nbe.edu.in, by logging in using their credentials. The FMGE admit card acts as the entry ticket to the exam centre of FMGE. 13. Those who have qualified for the FMGE 2025 July exam will be able to download the scorecard from August 21. The FMGE June 2025 session exam was conducted on July 26, 2025.
As per the FMGE exam pattern, the test is divided into two parts - Part A and Part B. Each part has 150 questions, making a total of 300 questions. The questions in the FMGE exam are asked from the MBBS curriculum. As per the marking scheme, one mark is awarded for every correct answer, while there is no negative marking.

FMGE Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (session 2025)
The result of FMGE 2025 mentions the roll numbers of the candidates, scores obtained (out of 300), and qualifying status. Only the candidates who secured at least 150 marks out of 300 are considered qualified for the screening test.

The minimum qualifying marks that the candidates appearing in the screening test, are required to obtain will be the FMGE cutoff of 2025. Candidates failing to meet the FMGE 2025 cutoff will be rendered disqualified and will not be able to register with the State Medical Council or NMC.
The total score of FMGE is 300 (two papers of 150 marks each). NBE has set the cutoff of FMGE 2025 at 50%, i.e. a candidate will be required to obtain at least 150 out of 300 marks (in the two papers combined) so as to qualify for the exam.
