The National Board of Examinations (NBE) conducts the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate exam, NEET PG 2024 for admission to around 26,168 Doctor of Medicine (MD), 13,649 Master of Surgery (MS) and 922 PG Diploma in 6,102 government, private, deemed/central universities.
The NBE has declared the NEET PG result 2025 on August 19 at nbe.edu.in. Candidates who have passed the exam are eligible for the online counselling rounds.
Candidates who qualify for the NEET PG 2025 are eligible for the counselling process. The authority release NEET PG merit list for the 50% AIQ seats. After the declaration of the results, the MCC conduct the NEET PG 2025 counselling for admission to 50% All India Quota (AIQ), 50% state quota, 100% deemed/central universities, and ESIC/AFMS institutes. Based on the choices filled by the graduates, NEET PG 2025 rank and seat availability, admission will be granted.
The NEET PG 2025 exam is conducted in a computer-based mode, wherein candidates have to attempt a total of 200 multiple-choice questions in three hours and thirty minutes. As per the NEET PG marking scheme, four marks are awarded for every correct answer, while one mark is deducted for each incorrect response.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is the conducting authority of the NEET PG 2025 for admission to 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, all deemed/central universities and ESIC/AFMS colleges.
