    The Medical Counselling Committee, MCC will conduct the counselling for BHU for MBBS and BDS. Candidates who appeared in the NEET UG entrance examination and secured a qualifying cut-off will be eligible to appear for the BHU counselling.     BHU MBBS counselling procedure

    BHU MBBS counselling is conducted in online mode. Details of the counselling procedure are listed below:

    Step 1: BHU MBBS counselling registration

    Candidates need to register at the official website of BHU by using their NEET roll number. While registering, the candidates have to pay BHU MBBS counselling fees. The roll number and the password created by the candidates will be the login credentials. For security reasons, candidates are advised to change their passwords at regular intervals.

    Step 2: Choice filling and locking

    After the registration, BHU publishes the MBBS merit list. From the list of central and deemed universities, the selected candidates are required to choose a university. Candidates must lock in their preferences before the BHU counselling. Also, they can make changes during the locking period.

    During the locking session, if a candidate fails to lock any choices, then the initial preferences made by the candidate are considered. Also, the BHU disqualifies the candidates for BHU MBBS admission 2026 who fail to submit their choices within the stipulated time.

    Step 3: BHU NEET seat allotment

    BHU NEET counselling 2026: Documents required

    The candidates are called for document verification at the allotted colleges. The list of required documents is mentioned below:

    • NEET admit card.

    • NEET result

    • Birth certificate

    • Marksheet of Class 12

    • Pass certificates of Class 10 and 12

    • Eight passport-size photographs

    • Provisional allotment letter

    • Valid identification proof

    • Caste certificate, if applicable

    • NRI document, if applicable

    • Minority status certificate, if applicable

    BHU MBBS counselling scheme 2026

    The BHU MBBS counselling consists of four rounds, which are round 1, round 2 and round 3, followed by a stray vacancy round. For the stray round, MCC will send the registration list to BHU.

    Reservation policy: 15% of the NEET seats are under the All India Quota and 85% of the seats are under the state quota. Seats contributed to BHU in All India are taken into account.

    • OBC- 27%

    • PwD- 5% Horizontal reservation

    BHU NEET cut-off 2026

    The BHU MBBS cut-off is determined by the availability of seats, NEET scores, number of applicants, difficulty level of examination, last rank and the equivalent score. Clearing the cut-off will make the candidate eligible for admission to the MBBS course at BHU. The BHU cut-off will be announced after the commencement of the counselling.
