HP MBBS 2026 merit list - tie-breaking method
In case the ranks of two or more candidates are equal, the authority will follow the tie-breaking procedure, which has been mentioned below.
Candidates with higher marks in Physics will be awarded a higher rank in the NEET merit list 2026, Himachal Pradesh.
If the tie still exists, the higher marks of an aspirant in Chemistry will be considered for a higher place in the HP MBBS merit list 2026.
In case of a tie, students who attempted less number of incorrect responses in the NEET 2026 exam will be provided a better rank.
If the tie still persists, then the candidate higher in age will be considered first on the AMRU HP merit list 2026.

Candidates who will be included in the merit list of HP NEET 2026 are eligible to participate in MBBS counselling in HP for state quota seats and private universities.
