If you want to fill out the NEET application form using your IB MYP results, you first need to convert your IB levels (1 to 7) into percentage marks. In India, the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) provides a standard conversion scale that is commonly accepted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for eligibility purposes.
Each IB level corresponds to a percentage range, and the midpoint of that range is generally taken as your marks obtained. For example, Level 7 equals about 98%, Level 6 equals 89%, Level 5 equals 76%, Level 4 equals 62.5%, Level 3 equals 48%, Level 2 equals 30.5%, and Level 1 equals 10.5%.
Using this method, your subjects convert as follows: English 62.5%, Integrated Humanities 76%, Hindi 62.5%, Integrated Sciences 62.5%, IDU 62.5%, Mathematics 48%, Visual Arts 89%, and Personal Project 76%.
While filling the NEET form, enter 100 as maximum marks for every subject and the converted percentage as marks obtained. Choose Qualification Code 07 for foreign or equivalent boards. For board name, select “International Baccalaureate” or choose “Other” and type it manually if it is not available.
