AP NEET UG 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Before filling out the AP NEET application form, aspirants are advised to go through the eligibility criteria. The eligibility for AP NEET 2025 reflects the basic prerequisite conditions that candidates must meet to get admission to MBBS and BDS courses. Candidates who wish to take admission under government quota seats must also fulfil the domicile eligibility of the state and show the local/non-local status. The AP state-specific eligibility criteria for NEET have been given below.

Local Candidates- Such candidates can apply for 85% of the seats out of the total state quota seats offered in the state. To indicate their local candidate status, they must fulfil one of the following criteria:

• Candidates who have studied/resided in a local area for at least four years are eligible to fill out the AP NEET 2025 application form.

• Candidate must have resided/studied in two or more local areas for seven continuous years than the one where the maximum number of years he/she has spent/studied to be considered eligible.

• If a candidate has studied/resided in two or more local areas for seven consecutive years and an equal number of years in two local areas, then the area where s/he has stayed last will be taken into account.

Non-Local Candidates- Any candidate whose parents or one of the parent/s is a resident of Andhra Pradesh state for a total period of ten years will be considered eligible to attain the domicile status of Andhra Pradesh state.

For Category C (NRI) seats, only children or wards of bonafide NRI residents who have cleared NEET 2025 will be eligible for admission.

How to fill AP state NEET Application Form 2025?

Aspirants can go through the points to know the detailed procedure of the AP MBBS 2025 application form.

AP NEET registration 2025

Candidates must ensure that they have a good internet connection to fill out the application form for AP NEET 2025. A link for registration will be available on this page. After clicking on the link, two options will be displayed on the screen - online application and web counselling, which can be checked below in the image. Aspirants must click on the online application form option to proceed further.

Candidates need to fill in NEET roll number, NEET Rank, date of birth, and mobile number in the registration window. After clicking on the ‘Validate’ button, a pop-up will be displayed which will provide the registration number. It is advisable to save the registration number as it will be utilised in the next step of the AP NEET 2025 application form.

Payment of Application Fees

After the successful payment, a dialogue box will appear on the screen and click on the ‘OK’ button.

After successful registration, candidates will be required to log in using their credentials, i.e. NEET Roll No., NEET Registration No.

AP NEET 2025 application form filling process

Candidates will be required to fill in their personal and academic details. Next, sign the declaration form stating that the information submitted is correct. Click on ‘Save and Exit to save the information and exit the process to move to the next step. The details to be filled in can be checked in the image given below.

Uploading of Documents

After filling out the form, click on the Save and Exit Button. This process can be repeated till all the data aspirants have entered are correct using the Data Updation link on the Home page. Then click on the Upload Certificates Button to proceed with document attachments.

• Transfer Certificate issued by the last attended institute

• Candidates who have studied outside Andhra Pradesh are required to show the resident certificate stating that s/he are residing in the state for 10 years.

Printing of AP MBBS 2025 Application Form

Now, candidates will be required to take a printout of the AP NEET application form. The copies of the AP MBBS BDS application form 2025 will be submitted during the provisional verification form session.

What after AP NEET registration 2025?

After the successful submission of the AP NEET 2025 application form, the name and roll number of the candidates will be included in the NTRUHS provisional verification form. Only aspirants whose names will be included on the AP NEET merit list 2025 will be eligible for admission. Such candidates will be required to get their documents verified at the nearest verification centre to be eligible for the AP MBBS counselling process.
