AMU MBBS merit list 2026 - Tie-breaking criteria

In case two or more candidates secure the same marks in the NEET exam, the authority uses the below-discussed criteria to resolve ties.

Candidates with a higher score in the NEET biology section will be placed higher in the AMU MBBS 2026 merit list
If the tie still persists, students with higher marks in NEET chemistry will be awarded a higher position on the AMU MBBS/BDS merit list
The candidate with less number of incorrect answers will be placed higher on the merit list
In the end, students older in age will be given preference in the AMU NEET 2026 merit list

Candidates included in the merit list of AMU MBBS 2026 have to submit their acceptance for the seat allotted to them.
