The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is conducted by NTA for admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses. The NEET exam 2025 is conducted in 13 different languages in pen and paper mode. Candidates have to fill their preferred NEET question paper language during the NEET registration process. It is important for NEET aspirants to be aware of the available language options. As per the NEET exam pattern, the question paper has four codes. Each set is divided into 6 sub-sets in different order. It must be noted that NEET 2025 language choice will be made only during the NEET form filling process and it cannot be changed later. While filling the NEET application form, candidates can pick their NEET 2025 language preferences in the available options. Check the steps below.
The NEET exam is held in 13 languages. These are English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
Candidates can choose their NEET question paper medium from the above options.
The NEET language selection can be done during the application process only. The options once filled cannot be changed later. So it should be done carefully.
The selection of the NEET regional language options will depend upon the location of the NEET exam centre.
Aspirants opting for English are provided with a NEET test booklet in English only.
Candidates who select Hindi medium will be provided with a bilingual test booklet in NEET English and Hindi.
Students opting for regional languages are provided with a bilingual test booklet in their selected regional language and English.
In case of any ambiguity in the translation of any of the NEET questions, the English version will be considered as final.

Candidates must remember the important points while selecting the NEET 2025 medium.
Students have to choose the NEET language medium while filling the application form.
Candidates who opt for English medium will be provided with the NEET question paper in English only.
Aspirants opting for any other medium will be given NEET exam bilingual options question paper in their preferred language and English.
In case of any doubt in the translation of a question, the English version will be treated as final.
NEET qualified candidates will be eligible for All India Quota and state quota seats, irrespective of the medium of the exam.
