Questions related to NEET

Have a question related to NEET ?

Hello Koushisk,

Yes, you can absolutely attend NEET UG 2025 as an engineering student. There are no restrictions on appearing for NEET UG based on your current field of study. Since you've completed your 12th grade with the required subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English), you are eligible to reappear for NEET UG.

Hope this information was helpful to you, Good Luck!

You can continue with your engineering studies while preparing for NEET 2025. Just ensure that you meet the eligibility criteria for NEET, such as age and educational qualifications, which you've already fulfilled.

Sorry aspirant, the information you provided is unclear and difficult to understand. Could you please clarify the following:

  • Paramedical without NEET cutoff: Are you referring to a paramedical course that does not require the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for admission?
  • 172 MBC community Villupuram government medical College la optometry seet kadaikuma : This sentence seems to be in Tamil and is not clear in English. Could you please translate it or provide more context?

Please clarify the question so that I can help you.

Hello student,

I understand that you have a paramedical course without NEET cutoff and obtained a score of 172.

However, I'd like to clarify a few things to provide the most accurate guidance:

  1. Specific Course: Could you please specify the name of the paramedical course you're referring to? This will help me determine the potential colleges or institutions offering it.
  2. Category: Are you part of a specific category (e.g., SC, ST, OBC, General) that might affect the admission process?
  3. Location Preference: Do you have a preferred location or region where you'd like to study?

Once I have this information, I can assist you with:

  • College Options: Identifying suitable colleges or institutions offering the paramedical course based on your score and category.
  • Admission Process: Explaining the admission procedure, including any necessary documents or requirements.
  • Counseling: Providing guidance on the counseling process and seat allotment.

    I hope you understand.

Hello,

Yes, you can participate in NEET Round 3 (Mop-up round) even if you skip Round 2 after not being allotted a seat in Round 1.

However, you don’t need to re-register or pay the security deposit again, provided you didn’t get a seat in Round 1 and haven't opted out of further rounds.

Your initial security deposit remains valid for the entire counseling process, including the mop-up round.

However, it’s important to check the specific counseling rules of the state or institution as they might have slight variations.

Hope it helps!

Hello,

If you did not get a seat in the first round of NEET counselling and also do not wish to remain in the counselling process in order to prepare for a long term instead of proceeding further, then you can follow these steps below to withdraw from the counselling:

  • Go to the NEET counselling portal and enter using your login credentials.
  • Find the "Withdrawing" or "Exit" option; the words may vary based on the state or national counseling process.
  • Now proceed according to instructions to withdraw from the counselling process.
  • Consider submitting documents where necessary, as a request to withdraw may have to be written by some counselling authority.
  • Keep proof of your withdrawal for future reference.

To drop from the counseling process is to miss the following rounds. So, be sure it's just what you want, and walk out. Go on to spend the year really preparing yourself for NEET, so you have a better chance next year.
