Careers360’s Counselling Cell has been flooded by anxious and disturbed parents and students from Arunachal Pradesh who were not able to find their state listed on the CBSE-AIPMT website. In the AIPMT application process, students have an option to deposit the application fee in prescribed banks (Syndicate Bank and Canara Bank) along with Post Offices. After the fee payment using the Bank E-Challan, students need to confirm their payment by entering the transaction ID and the Bank details on AIPMT 2014 website.
But surprisingly, parents from India’s North-Eastern state Arunachal Pradesh were shocked to see that their state is not even listed for fee payment confirmation option under Syndicate Bank selection. This is a serious concern as its causing trouble for the students and medical aspirants of Arunachal Pradesh for submitting the AIPMT Application.
Also, confirmation page of the application is to be sent by post as well along with the CBSE copy of e-challan but the confirmation page cannot be generated unless the applicants enter the details of payment.
This error in the AIPMT 2014 online application form is a serious concern and must be rectified at the earliest. One parent even asked us ‘If he can choose Assam as an option because it’s all same for ‘those’ in New Delhi and is discrimination with North Eastern states.’
Looking at the issue and intensity of the issue we at Careers360 are deeply disturbed and on behalf of students of Arunachal Pradesh we would like to ask the CBSE and the All India Pre-Medical Test authorities to rectify this issue in AIPMT online form at earliest and issue a clarification regarding the same. It is of utmost importance that CBSE take this issue seriously and ensure that the students of Arunachal Pradesh don’t suffer because of this blunder. We at Careers360 sincerely hope that CBSE will resolve this at earliest.
