The NTA conducts the NEET exam in pen-and-paper mode. The exam is held in 13 languages. Given the ongoing speculations, NEET UG 2025 exam mode it was anticipated that NEET exam mode will be changed to online mode. However, there has been no change in the NEET 2025 exam format. The exam consists of three subjects which include Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology). Candidates must complete the NEET syllabus 2025 on time and appear in NEET mock tests to enhance their preparation level. The NEET aspirants should create a study schedule and clear all important doubts.
As per the latest NTA notice, the NEET question paper will carry now a total of 180 multiple choice questions and there will not be a section B with optional questions. Each question has 4 options available, but candidates need to mark a single correct answer. Being familiar with the NEET exam pattern will help candidates to know the exam structure, NEET exam paper format and others.
The NEET subjects include Physics, Chemistry and Biology. As per the latest exam pattern of NEET, Physics and Chemistry sections will carry 45 questions each. The Biology section is divided into Zoology and Botany with 90 questions. A total of 180 questions will be asked. The total marks in NEET are 720. There will not be a section B with optional questions.
The NEET UG exam is conducted in the afternoon session for a duration of 3 Hours. The NEET exam timing is from 2 PM to 5 PM. The NEET applicants must enter the examination hall till 1:30 PM and the test booklet will be distributed at 1:45 PM. The NEET exam will conclude at 5 PM.
