UP CNET Total Marks

Candidates wishing to appear in the UP CNET 2026 must go through the total marks of UP CNET to prepare accordingly and qualify for the entrance exam. The total marks of UP CNET is 120. Total marks in UP CNET

The UP CNET has a total of 120 marks. The CNET 2026 exam comprises 120 questions divided equally among subjects - Nursing Aptitude, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. Candidates have to attempt all questions from each subject. Each correct answer will be given one mark and there is no negative marking for incorrect or multiple responses. Each section carries equal marks. A total of 24 marks are allotted to each section in UP CNET. UP CNET passing marks

The UP CNET passing mark for 2026 is released after the declaration of results. The UP CNET qualifying cutoff marks for the general category is 50th percentile. For General-PwD, the passing mark is 45th percentile and 40th percentile is for SC/ST/OBC categories.

UP CNET marking scheme

As per the UP CNET exam pattern, a total of 120 multiple-choice questions are asked in the entrance test. The total marks for UP CNET is 120. Each question will have four options. Candidates have to select the best option to answer the question. Selecting multiple responses will carry no marks.
