    NEET PG 2023 Topper Interview: The National Board of Examination (NBE) declared the result of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate, NEET PG 2023 on March 14. Among the top rank holders of NEET PG 2023, Dr. Aarushi Narwani, an MBBS graduate from Jaipur, bagged AIR 1.

    The NEET PG 2023 topper, Dr. Aarushi Narwani completed her MBBS from Vardhman Mahavir Medical College, Safdarjung. She started preparing for the NEET PG while she was in the internship. After giving mock tests and Grand tests she used to review all the wrong questions and prepare that topic again.

    Careers360: Congratulations on emerging as a NEET PG 2023 topper! How are you feeling about your results?

    Dr. Aarushi: It still hasn’t sunk in. I knew I would be able to crack the exam, but I did not expect this.

    Careers360: Tell us something about your background.

    Dr. Aarushi: I am Dr. Aarushi Narwani. I have pursued my MBBS from Vardhman Mahavir Medical College, Safdarjung, New Delhi. I am originally from Jaipur. I gave NEET UG and I got a rank of AIR 83.

    Careers360: What or who motivated you to pursue medicine as a career?

    Dr. Aarushi: Both my parents are doctors and they really motivated me and cheered me all the time.

    Careers360: Where did you complete your rotatory internship?

    Dr. Aarushi: I am doing my internship at Vardhman Mahavir Medical College Safdarjung.

    Careers360: How did your family support you in your journey?

    Dr. Aarushi: I have received a lot of support from both my parents and my little brother. My friends here have been with me through thick and thin.

    Careers360: Did you take any mock tests to prepare for NEET PG 2023 preparations?

    Dr. Aarushi: I did give mock tests, I also gave the mini tests and the Grand Tests from Marrow. I started giving GTs in the first month of my internship. After attempting a GT I used to review all the questions that I did wrong, along with all the questions that I did right, but I was not very sure about it. I used to reread those topics from my notes.

    Careers360: What are your hobbies and did you find time to engage in your hobbies throughout your NEET PG 2023 preparations?

    Dr. Aarushi: I reward myself whenever I work hard. Taking breaks is very important - once in 10 days taking some time out and relaxing is very important.

    Careers360: Any message or advice for future medical aspirants?

    Dr. Aarushi: Consistency is very important to crack NEET-PG, you need to work slowly and over time to reach your goal.
