Earlier, Round 1 choice filling for NEET PG counselling 2025 was scheduled from October 28 to November 5, 2025. On November 6, MCC extended the choice filling “till further notice.” Later, on November 16, MCC released a revised schedule announcing new choice-filling dates as November 17 to 18, with the seat allotment result expected on November 20. However, on November 18, MCC again extended choice filling by “2 - 3 days” without stating the exact timeline. These continuous delays have sparked widespread frustration among candidates.

Several candidates have taken to social media to express their frustration over the repeated delays in MCC NEET PG 2025 counselling. Aspirants on X (Twitter), Reddit, and Telegram are questioning how a national-level counselling process can function without fixed dates. Many are urging MCC to stop playing with students’ careers and release a clear, final schedule.
The phrase “in the larger interest of candidates,” used by MCC to justify the extension, has become a subject of sarcasm and memes.
