NEET PG 2024 Round 3 counselling updates

As per the latest updates, the Supreme Court of India, on February 7, 2025 dismissed the plea for the cancellation of NEET PG round 3 admission. The NEET PG round 3 counselling will not be conducted again now.

Earlier on February 5, 2025, SCI issued a notice to the MCC for the fresh conduct of NEET PG round 3 counselling. This decision came after a petition was filed by the students raising the issues of seat blocking in the round 2 counselling of several states. As per the filed petition, the round 3 counselling of NEET PG was compromised as it started before the completion of several states' round 2 counselling sessions, particularly Madhya Pradesh. Due to this, many candidates blocked the NEET PG AIQ seats while still getting better seats at the state level.
