FMGE Fail Percentage 2024 December: 72% Fail FMGE December Exam
The Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) is one of the toughest medical examinations in India. NBE conducts the FMGE exam for medical professionals who have completed their medical degrees from foreign universities and want to practice medicine in India. FMGE exam is well-known for its difficulty level and over the years, the FMGE fail percentage has been a topic of concern, discussion, and analysis. This year too around 70% of students failed to qualify for the FMGE December 2024 session exam.
The FMGE examination is held twice a year in June and December. As per the FMGE exam pattern, a total of of 300 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) divided into two parts: Part A (which focuses on Pre-Clinical and Clinical subjects) and Part B (covering Para-Clinical subjects) are asked. The candidates need to secure a minimum of 150 FMGE passing marks (out of 300) to pass the examination.
